A story of fatherhood.
Jacob takes his step-son to see his biological father in prison for the first time, but feels compelled to attempt to keep the boy from following in his father’s footsteps.
I directed this film as part of my first year on the Film and Moving Image Production course at Norwich University of the Arts. It was my first time adapting a script I had not written myself, as well as my first time working with British talent.
Thematically we knew from the start this would be a story of fatherhood. It also deals with themes of legacy, responsibility and nature vs nurture.
